Moscow Exhibit in Bratislava

A selection of images from Gerd’s Moscow exhibit in Festival La Gacilly-Baden travels to Zoya Gallery in Bratislava, Slovakia. The 2020 Festival in Baden, dedicated to photography in and of Eastern Europe, ran from July 14 to October 26.

Reviving the salon tradition of 19th century Imperial Russia, notable poets gather at the home of collectors Igor and Galya to recite their works. The hostess proudly shows off her gift—a shirt with handwritten poetry by the participants.

The Bratislava exhibit features an excerpt of images from Festival La Gacilly-Baden 2020, opens on November 16 and runs through December 16, 2020. The image featured above serves as the promotional image for the exhibition poster.
