RUSSLAND EXHIBIT IN SCHLESWIG

Gerd Ludwig’s focus on the socio-economic changes following the dissolution of the Soviet Bloc in 1991 resulted in his book and exhibit, Broken Empire: After the Fall of the USSR, a ten-year retrospective published by National Geographic in December of 2001. Looking back at this first decade of warp-speed Russian economic transformation, marked by glittering opportunity, poignant suffering, bold aspirations and brutal exploitation, the Museum in Schleswig, Germany shows Gerd’s exhibit Russland – Eine Weltmacht im Wandel.
